With our environment becoming a higher priority—due to carbon footprint, greenhouse emissions and global warming concerns—green building construction, and particularly LEED building construction for a green building rating system has been implemented with many organizations.

LEED Building Construction

Janick Electric Limited has been responsible for electrical designs and construction work for many LEED certified buildings. Our design intent is to optimize energy performance. Our vision is to employ LEED standards in all of our design-build projects, leading in Canada’s shared environmentally friendly goals.

Our staff and site crews are fully versed in the detailed requirements when performing work on projects designed to meet LEED certification standards. Janick has voluntarily taken steps to employ various LEED design methods on all of our projects regardless of intent to obtain LEED certification. From a construction standpoint, all of our projects use materials of low VOC content and all of our projects minimize waste and recycle waste materials where possible.
