facility features customer owned high voltage switchbear
8 cell 44kV feeding 1 x 4,000kVA 347/600V and
2 x 3,000kVA 347/600V transformers and sub services.
1 x 400kW standby natural gas generator life safety
c/w 1 x 200A life safety ATS and 400A non-life system ATS.
Full power distribution system for the building,
full lighting control system. Complete building fire
alarm system, electric vehicle charging stations
and design build complete IT infrastructure system c/w
fiber optic backbone.

This 515,000SQFT sorting facility and 68,000SQFT office
space features redundant high voltage, 6,000A distribution,
double ended switchboard with Camlock system, lighting,
lighting control system, exterior lighting, car chargers,
fire alarm, and solar panels.

Janick Electric LTd. was the design build electrical
contractor for this complete project, including the
structured cabling system.

This 1,100,000SQFT multi-client warehouse & distribution
centre features temperature controlled compartments and
cooler areas; it is the largest building of its kind in
the worldwide DSV network. This facility also features
a three storey corporate office, and was constructed to
meet LEED silver standard.

Project: Warehouse and Distribution Centre
Location: Brampton, Ontario
Completed: 2002

To service their retail outlets in Ontario, Quebec and Eastern
Canada, Future Shop consolidated several existing facilities
into a single 440,00 SQ FT distribution centre, repair/return
depot and regional head office.

The design included for energy savings with high low
dimming fixtures, open area metal halide pulse start lighting,
conveyor feeds, security systems, telephone data and fibre
for both the office and warehouse. The electrical design
produced energy consumption levels well below normal for
this type of facility.

Customer: H&M Robotic Distribution Centre
Project: Distribution Centre
Location: Ajax, ON
Completed: 2023

This 500,000SQFT robotics & conveyor area,
107,000SQFT warehouse area, 24,011SQFT office area,
building backup, 4,000A life safety ATS. Seven UPS
back up system ranging from 15kW to 30kW each. Full
lighting control system, complete building fire alarm
system c/w robotics, area beam detectors, electric
vehicle charging stations, design build complete
IT infrastructure system c/w fiber optics backbone.

This new 385,000 square foot distribution centre is located off the Transcanada Highway and is one of the largest buildings in New Brunswick. East Current Electric Inc. completed this project on time and on budget. This facility provides the competitiveness to better serve some 43 Kent stores.

This 209,936SQFT warehouse, 169,533SQFT wings,
42,410SQFT office & 2,563SQFT electrical/mechanical
room distribution facility features high voltage,
lighting, lighting control system, exterior lighting,
car chargers, and fire alarm system.

Project: Distribution Centre
Location: Cornwall, Ontario
Completed: 2012

This 1.35 million square foot distribution centre for retail giant, Target will service stores in Eastern Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces. It is located on a 169 acre site in the Cornwall Business Park and is one of three major distribution facilities commissioned for construction in Canada.

This job was a collaborative effort with Janick Electric and sister company East Current Electric. The project was completed on time and on budget.
